To help your glitter tattoo stay vibrant, avoid scratching or rubbing the tattooed area. Gently wash the area without scrubbing, and keep it dry for the first few hours after application.
It’s best to keep the tattoo dry for the first few hours. After that, it can tolerate light water exposure, but prolonged exposure (like swimming or long showers) may shorten its lifespan. Be sure to pat the tattoo dry if it gets wet.
Avoid applying lotions, oils, or creams directly onto your glitter tattoo. These can cause the glitter to lift and the design to fade more quickly.
To remove the tattoo, gently use baby oil, coconut oil, or makeup remover on a cotton pad. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing too hard, as this can irritate the skin.
If you experience any irritation or discomfort, remove the tattoo immediately using baby oil or makeup remover. Clean the area thoroughly and stop using the tattoo if irritation persists.
Yes! Tight clothing or friction can cause the tattoo to rub off. For the best results, try to avoid areas where the tattoo might be rubbed by clothing or accessories.
